I had tried mounting "Turkey Day" like the other texts, but it was too long and therefore hard to see. When we were planning
the reading/performance for opening night, I wanted somehow to include the virtual. I thought it would be interesting for visitors
to see "Turkey Day" projected on the wall while I read and then the MouseOver of the turkey (one I actually colored in
elementary school) could be seen as well as the PopUp (a mask I made that illustrates the terror I/she experienced). I also
wanted to show visitors to the gallery some of the process, especially the intersection of virtual and actual. And so
I placed a printout of "Turkey Day" with images on a board and stuck it on the shelf behind the piano to separate it
from the display. I placed a school photo of myself (first grade) in the upper-right corner of the turkey drawing and a
high school graduation photo lurking behind.
